This Impala has all matching numbers on an 80% body-off restoration.
Less than 600 miles on break-in period on both a rebuilt 396 Engine and 400 turbo 3-speed automatic transmission, with shift kit. Engine is bored .030 over and balanced & includes .268 street cam, roller rockers, oversized intake valves, Edelbrock Manifold, Speed Demon carburetor & ceramic coated headers. Factory air conditioning, new tires and new duel exhaust system from headers back. Body-off restoration included, complete stripping of undercarriage, frame and suspension parts, replaced all bushings, Ball joints and bearings. All parts painted with POR-15 rust inhibitor paint. Body is in excellent shape. Only requires minor body work (rust) on left rear quarter panel, around the rear window channel where rust damage incurred under vinyl covering and two small spots on lower front fenders. Interior has factory bucket seats w/ 3 speed console on the floor. Used Por-15 on interior panels for rust prevention. Interior needs new carpet, insulation, and headliner. Two small rips on a seam in both front seats. Air Condition/heat duct work needs replaced as does a switch to turn on the Air Conditioning. Dash pad has crack in it. Trunk needs to be finished as well.
